    Description

Love Indian food? Want to learn more about cooking it and eating it, in an informal setting, while tucking into an authentic three-course meal? Mallika Basu, passionate food writer, author of 'Miss Masala: Real Indian Cooking for Busy Living', and most recently of Jamie Oliver Food Tube fame is hosting an intimate dinner (including fabulous wine and a welcome cocktail) and cookery tutorial at premier food venue Maida Hill Place, London W9.

Mallika writes the popular www.quickindiancooking.com blog and has featured on Madhur Jaffrey's Curry Nation TV show, as well as on Jamie Oliver's FoodTube, the chef's YouTube channel cooking a Chicken Korma for his 1.25million subscribers to rave reviews. Mallika regularly contributes to media interviews. Elle Magazine called her one of the "leading influencers of tomorrow".

A completely self taught cook, Mallika learnt to cook Indian food when she moved from her home in Kolkata, India, to London. Mallika will be dishing out crispy onion pakoras, tender lamb on the bone curry and hand rolled chappattis along with tips, tricks and know how for time-starved lovelies to start cooking authentic Indian food at home.

Book now to nab one of the limited seats at an introductory £60pp. Signed copies of Mallika's book will be available for purchase at the event at £10 (RRP £14.75). Please note: this is not a BYOB event. Half a bottle of red/white wine will be provided per person, matched to perfection with the menu.
