This one day workshop will be exploring the relationship between dance and theatre, combining techniques like floor work, partnering and physical theatre, focusing on movement, narrative and actions with the aim to develop the performer's abilities.
Fernanda Prata has worked extensively in dance and theatre for over 20 years for companies thoughout the UK and Brasil including: Jasmin Vardimon, Vincent Dance Theatre, Protein Dance, Theatre Rites and Punchdrunk. With experience in performing, movement directing and teaching, the workshop will focus on channelling dance technique within theatre to support the dancer for devising and performing.
