Led by acclaimed choreographer Ash Mukherjee, this 3 hour dance & rhythm masterclass focuses on meditative tribal Indian dance flow, Carnatic spoken percussion composition and Carnatic classical interpretation of a Bollywood song, releasing, realigning and reconnecting breath and movement.
Participants are invited to perform with Ash for a curtain raiser for Vishnu’s Got My Back at ARK, on Saturday February 3rd.
If you are interested in the indigenous and classical cultures of ancient Indian civilizations, percussive music, or the body’s natural response to music and movement, then this workshop is for you!
