Description
Natural dyes, in particular indigo, have been used to dye fabric blue for thousands of years. Frome was renowned for its blue cloth. This fun workshop will explore making patterns on recycled cloth that will be dyed blue. Please bring a suitable small bag to take your wet sample home. Cost £20 per person, which includes materials. Maximum participants 10. Adults only. No previous experience required. Access: ground level at Tabula Rasa, Unit 2, The Welsh Mill. A 'Woven In Time' event within Frome Local History Festival 12-20 May 2023.
