IÑAKI AZPILLAGA is one of the first members of Ultima Vez and has been choreographic assistant to W. Vandekeybus’ for many productions.
Currently he combines his assisting projects with his pedagogical projects
The intensive will be divided in a technical class 10:30-12:00 and a laboratory in the afternoon.
Morning Class
These classes are directed to people interested in dance as an art of expression.
The classes are built around floorwork and standing evolutions across the space.
From high voltage energy to lazy-looking forms, the participants are encouraged to appropriate & stage the material in the shortest delay of time.
Afternoon Laboratory
Moving rather than formal technique will define the atmosphere of the workshop.

A key feature is encouraging each person to push beyond his own limits.
Bio
IÑAKI is a Brussels’ based dance teacher who shares teaching, training and leading workshops with coaching dance productions.
Since 1994 until now he has been related to the company Ultima Vez as dancer, teacher, repetitor and choreographic assistant to W. Vandekeybus’ numerous productions.
Please note, if you are doing the workshop you can attend the 9:15am YOGA class at a bargain rate: £7 (instead of £12)
