During two days you will be introduced to devising techniques for immersive experiences focusing on the performer’s point of view.

Vinicius Salles will be introducing some of the devising techniques for immersive experiences focusing on the performer’s point of view. Aimed to open the performer’s sensitivity to the space, character and narrative. Throughout the workshop task-based improvisations will lead the participants to explore and create a dialogue with the architectural environment using the body as a mediator, as well as looking at the vital role the other senses play and the audience interaction in creating an exciting, immersive theatre.

The 2 full-day workshop will investigate the body, articulating its potential in movement, character and narratives. The day will explore how creatively you can let go of your certainties to open your view in other ways to articulate theatrical experiences. Be prepared for physical and mental exhaustion, to be stirred inside out and upside down with improvisation, movement, characters and text. The workshop is open to performers, actor and writers. The workshop will give a chance for the participants to dive into physical theatre style. Having a chance to develop their skills through a continuous process of investigation, but also to share their experience with others in a more theatrical setting.
