This summer, IKEA will open the six-day-long IKEA Reading Rooms in partnership with leading literary award, the Man Booker Prize (Tuesday 31 July – Sunday 5 August).

Taking place at IKEA’s Wembley store and open to the public, the IKEA Reading Rooms will offer the unique opportunity for people to come along and enjoy a good read of some of the UK’s finest fiction in the most relaxing of environments.

With hour-long slots available from 10am-6pm* on a daily basis, visitors can curl up with a copy of a book from the newly-announced Man Booker 2018 longlist (which they can also take away with them) and unwind into a wonderful state of escapism in their own cosy, personal living room. So, if you want to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, then book your FREE slot today.

We also have exclusive author events taking place at the following times with talented long-listed authors giving insights into their nominated book:

There will be a limited number of spaces available, so we recommend booking now before it’s too late!
