This course celebrates the remarkable development of children who have experienced the world for only 24-36 months. Practitioners are encouraged to look at the world through the eyes of two-year olds in order to provide unique experiences which will support them through this often difficult period. Suitable for anyone working with this age group in EYFS settings and for parents wanting a greater understanding of their child's developemnt.
This course is suitable for all EYFS practitioners, including childminders, working within Ofsted regulations at settings and for parents.
For Participants to:
- Reflect on typical development age 24-36 months
- Recognise the typical patterns of play of this age group and understand how development and learning are interconnected
- Plan a range of playful experiences appropriate to the stage of development of each unique two year old
- Exchange useful and meaningful information about each child's development (with parents, carers, colleagues and other professionals)
