The Hype team are excited to announce one of our most popular experiences. This time we'll learn about wine, talk about wine and of course, taste wine!

First up is the newly opened and unique wine shop, Passione Vino.

PASSIONE VINO literally means “Passion for Wine" and, for over a decade its founders, Luca Dusi and Federico Bruschetta, have demonstrated their passionate love for the winemaking traditions and culture of Italy.

They'll tell the story of the hand crafted wines made by small Italian artisan producers they now consider friends. Hidden away under the shop, is their secret tasting room, and we'll have the chance to sample a few of the wines on offer. Luca and Federico seek out UNDISCOVERED, RARE and TRADITIONAL wine makers from all over Italy and promote their expertly crafted and very often natural products. Rather than blindly following the latest market trends, they regularly break new ground by bringing unknown and unexplored or long forgotten wines to consumers.

In the second part of this experience we'll visit a lovely Victorian warehouse and former apothecary in the centre of Shoreditch. Merchants Tavern is a neighbourhood institution - a fantastic restaurant with a great bar, lovely music, and an even better wine list.

Next, we're going to taste some real spanish tapas at Tapas Revolution Shoreditch. These guys brings the vibrant tapas bars of Madrid to London's East End. Omar is the chef of Tapas Revolution and has a burgeoning reputation as one of the UK’s brightest young chefs.

Perfect for everyone interested in wine culture or if you just want to have an evening out. You'll also meet other Londoners, make new friends and have a lot of fun!

This experience is around 2 hours long. We'll meet in Shoreditch, just outside Passione Vino where the tour starts.

Bring £10-£30 in cash with you in case you want to take bottle of wine (or several) home.
