Description
After talking to many of you, the answer to whether you wanted to get together, meet up and have you own network was a YES.
So we'd like to invite you to a breakfast at R/GA to get the HR community together from across the industry. The wise and wonderful Liz Nottingham, who sits on our Creative Equals Advisory Board and is part of the IPA, is our host. As we visit a lot of businesses and meet many of you, we felt there would be huge value in creating a 'safe space' (closed shop) roundtable for HRs to get together.
A community to talk, share, debate, discuss and grow.
Our first topic will be: 'Who looks after the HRs?' We see an increasing pressure across the industry on the HR community so we thought we'd run a panel, followed by a coaching session, looking at mental health within the HR community. In the last 45 minutes, we would also like to hear from you on topics to explore as a group.
And now we have a guest speaker, Michelle Morgan.
She is the Founder Pjoys | Co-Founder Livity & Livity Africa | Co-Founder Dubplate Drama | NED | Speaker | Mental Health Campaigner
So one extraordinary human being...
Some of the discussion areas we've heard:
- What's actually working on diversity?
- Dealing with discrimination/harassment - getting people to speak up
- Removing bias throughout our HR process
- Anticipating and dealing with stress/burn out/mental health
Organiser
Creative Equals is the equality kitemark of the the creative industries. Our mantra is simple. We believe diverse teams make diverse work for diverse audiences.
