House of Vans proudly presents Sessions - a series of free intimate gigs by up and coming bands from the UK and beyond.
On the 14th of February, join House of Vans for a Valentine’s Special and catch North London trio Wyldest performan an intimate live showcase from the Tunnel 2 mini stage, supported by Liverpool born and raised artist Zuzu.
Blending hazy shoegaze with gossamer synth-pop, Wyldest have been creating their own self-sufficient story since appeared with early demos in 2015, immediately picking-up support from The Telegraph, DIY and NME and comparisons with the likes of Warpaint and Grimes to Blonde Redhead and Chairlift.
Their 2017 'Hitchhiker' EP enjoyed glowing reviews from the likes of EARMILK and Indie Shuffle and Radio 1 play from long-time supporter Huw Stephens. Following their House of Vans showcase, the band is now working towards further live dates – including a string of showcases at this year’s SXSW - and a much anticipated debut full-length in 2018.
Inspired by everything from The Beatles to The Beach Boys, Grandaddy to Bright Eyes, and Carseat Headrest to Countney Barnett, this 22 year old Liverpudlian makes an awesome noise all of her own. New EP comes out in March with a single called Beauty Queen alongside her first comic.
