Hometown Sessions purpose is to provide an environment and platform for the highest quality of sound system music, so who better to invite than two of the best in the game, for the first time together in Glasgow:
- OBF (Dubquake, OBF Records)
- Charlie P (Boxman, OBF Records)
OBF is the reggaematical, futuristic sound system and production powerhouse straight outta France and at the top of their game in 2019. Whether running sessions at Dubquake & Top Ranking in Geneva, relentlessly releasing music on the OBF imprint or touring the world from Mexico, to Jamaica, Brasil, USA, Canada, all over Europe and everywhere inbetween - OBF set the trend, paying respect to the traditions of reggae music and sound system whilst carrying it in the the future.
Charlie P is no stranger to Glasgow; his latest album with OBF "Ghetto Cycle" hasn't left the Hometown turntable since it was released. From the maddest in time MC flows to the sweetest melodic singing, Charlie is one of the most talented vocalists in this corner of music and we welcome him back warmly to the dance.
Tom Spirals is controlling the mic section for Hometown on this session. Fresh from the release of his latest single "Chatterbox" with Samson Sounds on the BoomSound label, Tom is proving that Scottish vocalists can break into the international circuit with the sound system as their tool.

Fresh on the scene, Sippa Seb has impressed crowds around Scotland with his discerning rub a dub & dancehall vinyl sets. Catch Seb warming up the session from 2300.

As always James, Welshy & Campeazi will be providing the sound & power for the session - rrrrrrub a dub style!
