🌿 Forest Fusion : Home Ed Winter Woodland Session
“A fun forest experience for curious minds and creative hearts.”
Join us in Elfwoods' stunning 30 acres of beautiful woodland for a magical Home Education forest session filled with creativity, exploration, and calm. Please register your interest with Lyndsey the rebel teacher, and you can even identify which particular areas of study you'd like the family to explore/learn about.
We’ll begin our morning gathered for circle time and introductions before the forest opens up for child-led discovery and hands-on learning.

🌱 Nature and eco provocations – exploring forest Maths, minibeast hunting, cloud and bird identifying, patterns, and sensory learning
🪵 Bushcraft activities such as safe whittling
🎨 Mandala circles – mindful art therapy with forest finds
🧘 Mindfulness activities to slow down and connect with nature
💬 Mindful talk sessions – calm conversation prompts for families
🌳 Space for independent play and discovery
🔥 A comforting fire pit for rest and connection- we may even learn about the fire waste!
🎶 A grounding miniature family sound bath to end the session together, using crystal bowls, ocean drums etc
This relaxed, nurturing environment encourages children to learn through nature, express themselves creatively, and enjoy meaningful time outdoors with peers.
We will be hosting more sessions throughout the year. Please register your interest. Activities can usually be adjusted for age. This is a space to learn, create, and reconnect — led by Lyndsey Roberts of Forest Fusion, an experienced rebel educator passionate about child-led, nature-integrated learning.

💷 Price: £15 per 1 adult + 1 child | £5 per additional child
👨👩👧 Parents must remain with, and supervise their children at all times and are entirely responsible for the safety of children within their party for the duration of their visit to Elfwoods. Forest Fusion will not be held responsible for negligible supervision, and are present as hosts, tutors and guides.
SOUND BATH - PLEASE NOTE!
*all hearing aids to be removed before sound bath to avoid interference.
*Contraindications-
You should not attend sound bath (without written GP clearance) if you have/have had any of the following-
-heart conditions
-epilepsy
-serious mental health conditions
-metallic implants such as plates, pins, or pacemakers
-currently pregnant
*What to Bring-
An open mind! Warm/waterproof clothes, yoga mat, blanket, really anything you need to lie comfortably for the session. Bring a water bottle/snack as you may feel dehydrated as you begin to release tension and toxins.

Lyndsey, a seasoned educator created Forest Fusion after a very successful international career working in educational leadership. Lyndsey’s varied background includes New Zealand, Australia, United States, United Kingdom and International Baccalaureate educational systems along with teaching members of a Royal Family. She has trained teachers at various universities abroad, educated governors on boards, led CPD sessions for educators and ran workshops for parents and wider communities such as professional networking groups. Lyndsey’s extensive teaching experience spans various countries and cultural contexts, showcasing her passion for Early and Primary Years development.
She studied ‘Visible Thinking’ at Harvard University and often applies this in her learning spaces and well-being sessions. Beyond teaching, she excels in leadership, spearheading initiatives for inclusive and innovative learning environments, emphasising her dedication to shaping educational paradigms. Lyndsey has herself experienced trauma, witnessing several failures within different systems and wanted to educate and support people to prioritise their learning and well-being. Life is short, Lyndsey realises that time is the most valuable commodity. Lyndsey wanted to MAKE time. She wanted to use her experience and qualifications to help people to embrace life, learning and inner well-being.
Forest Fusion promotes well-being, self care and academic learning. We help people to feel empowered, prioritising time for themselves, their families, friends and colleagues. We offer a variety of well-being workshops and educational experiences whilst collaborating with the local community. We lead different types of training, lessons and workshop sessions to further assist in both academic development and well-being.
