We are excited to have the legendary TotalRock radio celebrate it's 21st Birthday with us at Holloway Strip!
To honour such an occasion, MYKE GRAY, fresh from a fine performance at the Stonedead Festival, headlines, with DEAD MAN'S WHISKEY making a second appearance at Holloway Strip in support. THESE WICKED RIVERS, SWEET CRISIS and HAXAN complete the line-up! Headliner will finish at 11pm, allowing people to catch trains if need be.

MYKE GRAY

With a music career spanning nearly 40 years Myke Gray's baptism of fire came at the tender age of 13 when former Gillan guitarist, Bernie Torme, invited Myke to play with him at the legendary Marquee club. From there Myke went onto play guitar for UFO and then form his first band Jagged Edge. Their debut album Fuel for your Soul was released on Polydor records and its success led them to tour with artists such us Ozzy Osbourne, Vixen, Thunder and David Lee Roth.

Under the guidance of his manager Rod Smallwood Gray then went on to work with Bruce Dickenson on his solo album and was part of the backing band that gave the Iron Maiden singer a top 20 hit covering the Alice Cooper classic Elected for Comic relief. At the same time Gray was forming his second band Skin. Skin signed to Parlophone records and released their debut album in 1994. It smashed into the UK Top 10 and the singles Money and Tower of Strength become top 20 hits. The success of the album led to tours with Little Angels, Thunder and countless headline tours around the UK, plus an invitation to play at the Monsters of Rock and open for Bon Jovi at the Gateshead stadium. Further touring took them into Europe and Japan supporting Whitesnake and Helloween.

Gray then went on to become a music producer for countless films and adverts before returning to live work in 2009 when Skin reformed to play on the main stage at Download. This led to the release of a new and album and a nationwide tour.

Gray's third band Red White & Blues released it's debut album in 2012 and supported Whitesnake, Chickenfoot, Quireboys and Lynyrd Skynyrd which led to an invitation to once again play at the Download festival. 2017 saw the release of Myke Gray's first solo album Shades of Gray. This led to an invitation to play shows at Download 2018, the Steelhouse festival, HRH, Planet Rock Winters End Festival as well as opening for the Blackstar Riders as well as his own headline tour in 2020. 2021 saw the release of Myke Gray's second solo album under the name Shades Of Gray. He has also just played at the Rock and Blues Custom and Stonedead Festivals.

DEAD MAN'S WHISKEY

Dead Man's Whiskey are a 5-piece hard rock band from London UK. Formed in 2016, the band bring a powerful blend of classic and modern rock, combining heavy riffs with anthemic choruses and stadium sized power ballads. After the release of their debut album Under the Gun, the boys have wasted no time becoming one of the UK's hottest up and coming bands, taking the Rising Stage by storm at Ramblin Man Fair 2018, hitting the Boardie Takeover at Download Festival 2019, selling out the iconic Camden Underworld and heading to Miami to play the legendary Kiss Kruise.

After a year of lockdowns, writing and recording, the boys are now back with their brand new EP - BREAKOUT, set for release 1 October 2021.

HAXAN
UK powerhouse rock trio Häxan hail from South Wales and South West England. The band have made a name for themselves in the rock scene with an array of shows and festivals worldwide, including the likes of Download Festival, Planet Rockstock, Monsters of Rock Cruise (Miami), and Rock the Boat (Australia). Known for a live show which promises to be loud and packed with raw energy, they have played alongside a number of artists such as Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Status Quo, Foreigner, Electric Six and many more.
