Gennem hans mange komedier kan man få et enestående indblik i datidens København, og de mennesker der boede her.
Med udgangspunkt i Holbergs liv og værker, vil vi tage på en rejse tilbage til 1700-tallets København. En by der ikke blot var præget af pest og brand, men også af sære eksistenser, prægtige bygningsværker, oplysningstid, videnskabelige landvindinger, tiltagende rigdom og et gryende kulturliv.
Tag med rundt I de kringlede københavnske gader, og oplev byen som den tog sig ud, da Holberg gik rundt i den.
Vi begynder og ender turen ved Kongens Nytorv metrostation.
