Join us for a unique evening celebrating local writers and literature hosted by John Harrigan and Will Coles. Immerse yourself in spoken word, author readings and an interview with renowned local author Zoe Folbigg in the inspiring setting of Hitchin Lavender.
Our evening begins with spoken word and poetry readings with slots available for those who have always wanted to try their hand at spoken word.
The writers and artists of Chapter One Creative Writing Group will then share readings from the work they have been developing over the last six months at Hitchin Lavender. Amongst their offerings, you will experience children’s literature, autobiography, comedy and fiction; words of grief, of anger, of lies and of joy.
Finally the evening will close with an interview and Q&A with Zoe Folbigg, renowned local author of ‘The Note’ and ‘The Distance’.
The evening will be a stimulating opportunity to meet and ask questions of local authors, and to exchange ideas with audience members and writers.
All proceeds from tickets sales for the Hitchin Lavender Literary Evening will be donated to Neuroblastoma UK.
