In this amazing live link up between Space Detectives and Captain Bob from "Rockets and Robots" in the USA, we will investigate the History of Spaceflight from the very first rockets up to the Apollo Missions and beyond.....
The finale of the workshop will leave you with a planned project to build an amazing rocket, using household items and a specially designed template and video presented by Captain Bob himself. Prizes will be awarded for the best 3 rocket projects submitted.
This promises to be a fantastic international Space Education Collaboration between 2 companies, both of which aim to inspire the next generation of Space Engineers, Scientists and Explorers.
Captain Bob has strong links to NASA, as his father held a 30 year career with the NASA Armstrong Flight and Research Centre in California. He has also had the honour of meeting both Neil Armstrong and Chuck Yeager.
Suitable for UKS1/KS2 and LKS3 children.
