Description
Learn how to make a wonderful Highland Cow sculpture using Powertex fabric sculpting medium.
On this course, you will be shown how to create your sculpture from creating the framework of your cow, building the basic shape and finishing with the final decoration. All the materials and equipment will be provided.
You will be able to take home your finished sculpture on the day. All you need to bring with you are an apron and lunch plus a bunch of enthusiasm.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, but it would be helpful if you have done some kind of art or crafting before.
Powertex is a non-toxic, water-based medium which is similar to acrylic paint so can be a bit messy and sticky. Gloves will be provided but please prepare to get a little messy and wear old clothing and preferably leave any rings or other hand jewellery at home.
Small group workshop, only 8 tickets available.
Please note: The venue is accessible but unfortunately does not currently have a fully wheelchair-accessible toilet facility.
If you have any questions, please email certified Powertex tutor Vicky Sargent
