Artist’s Bio – January 2026
Adrian is an Adobe Certified Expert working extensively with digital imaging, Lightroom, Photoshop and digital printing. Adrian has been involved in teaching Photography for over 20 years and became a full time professional photographer in 2016. He provides training in photography, digital post processing and printing to groups and individuals in the UK and abroad. Adrian also provides these services for some of the most well-known Photographers and photo tour companies in the UK.
Early on, Adrian had much success in photography competitions, especially in Black & White and modern architecture. In 2016 one of his Black & White images was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, selling out its edition during the private view. This success lead him to give up his day job and focus on Photography.
During lock-down, like many others, Adrian lost all his bookings and faced a difficult financial situation. In March 2020 he started to translate his classroom workshops into online workshops, built a website, learned to use zoom and marketed himself to the online community. This was a huge success and continues to be a major part of his business today.
Adrian lives and works in North Devon with his wife Clea who specialises in handmade books. Over the past 3 years, they have delivered more than 20 photo tours and workshops combining photography, editing, printing and handmade photobooks in the UK and abroad.
Adrian loves Black & White and Infrared photography and in his personal work, Adrian loves to make dark, high contrast Black & White images with moody skies.
