A little launch event for our community herb growing project Hackney Blends. To coincide with National Tea Day we'll be having a tea party with a herbal twist, naturally.There will be tea tasting, herb-infused snacks including herbal marshmallows made by Helly's Kitchen and gardening activities. We'll be showing you how to sow some herb seeds to take home and as ever demonstrating how herbs can be used for general wellbeing.
Hackney Blends is a project to support community groups in Hackney to grow their own herbal teas. This is a free event but donations are welcome on the day.
