Multiple sessions across three days
During this fast-paced 1 hour workshop, you will learn about the joys and techniques that go into letterpress printing. Working as a group you will conceive, design, create and print a poster using weird and wonderful phrases and a selection of Tom’s vintage woodblock poster type for inspiration - each participant will leave with their very own print and a sense of joy!
Tom Boulton aka TYPETOM.COM – Trained as a typographic designer going on to be a self-taught Letterpress printer. With over 10 years experience Tom has been commissioned by the likes of Tate Modern, Fortnum and Mason, Southbank Centre, The Design Museum and has been featured in publications such as Creative Review and The Telegraph.
