HARROW FESTIVAL ON THE 3^RD AND 4^TH OF SEPTEMBER

The event will take place on September the 3^rd and 4^th from 12pm till late

Another first for our great borough of Harrow! We a going forward with a festival of colour (Holifest). Anyone of any age can join in this rich tradition of colour throwing, and celebrating everything that is fun and wonderful in life, so grab a bag of colour and wait for the signal to throw it high (extra fees apply) to buy tickets please see www.harrowfestival.co.uk/buy-tickets

There will be a fantastic collection of entertainment over the two days, and we will be providing low entry tickets, from £1.50 online and a fantastic line-up , so the whole community can share in Harrow's first ever festival. With so much entrainment lined up for the weekend, from fair rides, side shows, market stalls, festival of colour (Holifest), world food arena plus some much needed community areas and a business zone for our local businesses wanting to showcase their products, this event aims to bring our borough closer together.

We have teamed up with many charities, groups and local business to make this event a possibility, and thanks to the generosity of our sponsors/ supporters, (www.harrowfireworks.co.uk) we have been able to really give this event what it needs to entertain you all! Harrow Festival and HOLI FESTIVAL brings you not just a collection of market stalls and traders but OVER 30 community outlets, sports teams, charities and business that come from all over to show you what it is that they do or sell. There will also be a fabulous eclectic mix of culture and products for the budding bargain hunters of Harrow. The Harrow festival market is an event in its self on both days of our harrow event.

Our event is taking place in the picturesque grounds of Byron Park, just around the corner from Harrow Leisure Centre, and is just a short walk from Harrow and Wealdstone Underground Station, and is open to everyone on both days, the only exception being our evening event, Holifest on the Saturday, which is strictly over 18s only. Holifest is a festival type event with live music, alcohol and DJs. If you are under 18, even if you have a ticket, or you forget your ID, you will be refused entry to the event.

PERFORM AT HARROW FESTIVAL!

Do you have what it takes to play on stage to an audience of thousands? Have you been waiting for that chance to get noticed? Or just want to do what you love? Well, we want to hear from YOU!

This year at Harrow Festival, we are giving you the chance to perform during the day at our Holifest festival of colour – what an amazing time on the big stage this will be! You’ll be performing to a huge crowd in the midst of our Holifest – Festival of Colour event. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get involved and be a part of!

What we are looking for

We are seeking bands, singers, DJ’s to perform during the day at our Holifest event over the weekend of September 3rd and 4th 2016. You MUST be good with crowds and able to bring your own equipment if you are in a band. This event is not suitable for anyone who suffers from stage fright!
