The Hampstead Jazz Club in partnership with the Hampstead Summer Festival is pleased to present a benefit concert in aid of the Summer Festival community charities.
The evening will have two bands performing making their debuts at HJC.
LAUREN LUCILLE
Lauren Lucille shares her love and life lessons and stories through a musical fusion of folk/jazz/pop. She has a sassy, soulful and versatile voice and either plays solo or with a band!
Born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, Lauren was surrounded by music from an early age. Over the last 10 years, artists such as Kurt Elling, Tierny Sutton, Gian Slater, Sara Serpa, Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap and Ani Difranco have all had a large influence on the way Lauren writes and performs music.
In 2019, Lauren released her second all original album ‘Let Go’ produced by one of UKs top pop and jazz producers - Troy Miller (Amy Winehouse, Laura Mvula, Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter). This has more pop influences using electric guitars, a moog and a hammond.
LORENZO DE FINTI QUARTET
Performing at Ronnie Scott's earlier in the evening, the Lorenzo De Finti Quartet will perform the 2nd Set at HJC @9:00pm.
Lorenzo De Finti began to play piano at the age of five and began playing in public only 6 years later. He completed his formal studies under the supervision of Maestro Alberto Colombo at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi of Milan, Italy’s largest music academy. With his outstanding technique and artistic expression, Lorenzo was immediately recognized by the media and began playing some of the most important musical venues in Europe very early.
The latest release, “LOVE UNKNOWN”, confirms the Quartet as one of the more interesting surprises in the European jazz scenario. The first leg of a huge European tour will bring the quartet in Italy, Switzerland, Norway, Lithuania, Poland, France, England, Sweden, Estonia, Turkey and Denmark.
Following 2016’s ‘We live here’, this set continues to display Swiss pianist de Finti’s flowing piano lines, and the superb compositional skills of de Finti and Dall’Ora. De Finti refers to this music as chamber music, and the care with which they build the compositions reflects this.” (Chris baber, Jazz Views, UK)“

Please note, The Club is not licensed to allow access to Children under the age of 16 after 9pm, so for evening performances, please do not book tickets for children under the age of 16. Children aged 16 and above are welcome at any time.
This is a fully seated event. Seats are not numbered and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
