Description

Join us for an evening of exhilarating spoken word with Brighton's longest-running poetry slam at The Tusk Club @ The Walrus. Featuring performances from Bassie Gracie, Isabel Songer and Ayana Playle (@bassiegracie @isabel.songer @ayanaplayle_), hosted by Leanne Shorley (@leanneshorley)

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

HOW TO SLAM: 'Performer Tickets' are now SOLD OUT for 1st October. If you'd like to come along as an audience member and be on the slam reserve list, please let us know at the door on the night (often, at least one slammer with 'Performer Ticket' won't turn up, so it's worth a punt!)

Check out our Instagram to see us in action @hammerandtonguebrighton and feel free to email hammerandtonguebrighton@gmail.com with any questions.

Please be aware the performance space is in a basement which is only accessible via a flight of stairs. There is space to store wheelchairs / a mobility scooter on the ground floor. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Venue

The Walrus, 10 Ship St, BN1 1AD Brighton

FAQ

  • I have not received my Hammer & Tongue Poetry Slam ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Hammer & Tongue Poetry Slam tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the Hammer & Tongue Poetry Slam event online.
