As part of International Women's Day, H&T Hackney hosts an event celebrating the poetry of women. With a live feature poet, Jenni Mac, and an open mic slam, men learn to be quiet this month as women take the stage.
Jenni Mac, poet and virtual artist, likes to dip all proverbial toes in the very silly and very serious all at once and see what happens. Lately, they’ve been making radio shows, running workshops, writing about a gal in a graveyard, and drawing a lot of lemons.
