    BIO:

Iftikhar Latif aka Ifti is a writer and poet of British-Bangladeshi descent. He released a limited-print collection of short stories and poems, titled ‘LOSERS’, in August 2019. His work often refers to the British Asian experience, immigrant family relationships and deconstructions of masculinity. He is currently co-founder and producer of Off The Chest, which is an Arts Council funded poetry organisation that provides spaces for poetry through open mic nights and developmental workshops. He is also one of the poets working with the V&A for their 2022 ‘Drip Maketh the Man’ project. You can read more work by Ifti on his website – yungifto.com

First come, first served for both methods. 3.5 mins on the mic, all styles welcome, no props, no music. *Please note: you cannot read at two consecutive slam to make sure newcomers get a chance.
