Who will be crowned the winner and automatically go on to our July 2023 final???
This month's special guest is the amazing POET RS!
His rhythm and beat will have you on your feet as he waxes lyrical, personal tales that will blow you away.
Hammer & Tongue is a live poetry and spoken word night, from the organisers of the "best poetry gigs in Europe, hands-down"!
The night includes: a featured set from a top poet, our winners from the previous month, return for a 10 minute set and then...
we have the Open Mic Slam of course!

Please note, we won't let you contend in consecutive months.
The Rules:
Each poet gets 3.5minutes on stage - clock starts as soon as you start talking, points deducted if you go over
Spoken word only - no instruments or backing tracks
5 audience judges give scores out of 10 to one decimal place. We take the highest and lowest scores off and add up the 3 middle scores.
Top score wins.
