This Halloween, assemble at the Magic Garden for a terrifyingly good night in the style of cult movie ‘The Lost Boys’! Revisit the 80s in its prime, when Corey Haim, Jason Patric & Kiefer Sutherland were but teens, and leather jackets & blonde mullets ruled supreme. Come dressed as your favourite character and feel like you’re part of the movie, as the pub will be decorated in the style of our favourite scenes from the film. The soundtrack to the night will be provided by vampire queen Barbarella & her band, with support from petrifying punk band SLEAZE. And it’s all in the name of a good cause, with proceeds going to UK Action for Refugees.
*LOST BOYS THEME & FANCY DRESS*
We’ve chosen one of our favourite movies as the theme for this party, so it’s time to get out the hairspray and dig up your motorcycle leathers! We want to see you become the best 80s vampire that you can be. Bonus points for anyone who rocks a proper mullet on the night!!!

Barbarella's Bang Bang:
The bombshell-fronted, cajon-backed, accordion toting Barbarella’s Bang Bang bring their unique gypsy-latin-dance flavour to every stage they grace and bring on a party atmosphere with attitude, gratitude, delight and a potency that is totally exhilarating.
Influenced by Edith Piaf, Liza Minelli, Nina Simone, Italian Folk and the urban realities of the 21st Century, with a touch of deep and sensual mystery!
Sleaze:
Brewing from the ever-growing South London scene, punk group Sleaze capture the sound of frustration every man, woman and child feels towards our country’s repulsive politicians, imploding economy and bacterial gastro-pubs.
*IMMERSIVE DECOR*
The legendary Set Pistols will be coming down to make the pub look like you’ve stepped straight into Santa Carla! There will be a comic book pop up shop (with hundreds of real vintage comics for sale!) and a Lost Boys clothing market, as well as many other scary surprises from our favourite scenes.
*PRIZES*
Come rocking the ‘Lost Boys’ look to be in with a chance of dinner with the fabulous Connor Earley! Prize for best outfit is a luxurious dinner with Connor at our Lewisham venue the Fox & Firkin. Or use your sleuthing skills to guess who the head vampire is. If you’re right you could win dinner and wine for two at the Magic Garden
*FUNDRAISING*
This night is a fundraiser in aid of UK Action for Refugees. We’re not charging a door fee, instead doing entry by donation, with all donations going directly to the charity. Various other parts of the night will also be in aid of the charity, such as comic book sales from the pop up shop. The Magic Garden will match whatever the total raised on the night is and donate the lot to the charity, who do crucial work in looking after refugees who have been abandoned by governments & large NGOs alike.
