Gypsy Disco is an immersive circus party that entices its audiences to explore their mischievous and wonderful playground. We encourage participants to engage and immerse themselves with the spontaneous storylines and wild characters that they will meet through the night. You are provided with a fine array of Circus Performance, Immersive theatre & Burlesque acts all in tune to the sound of Gypsy, Klezmer & Balkan Brass.

The Gypsy Disco family have been away exploring, where we don't know. Along the way they picked up many waifs, strays and stragglers. But, most importantly, they collected some musical wonders. Now after three years in the making they want to share them with you! 14 of the most delightful Gypsy, Klezmer & Balkan brass tracks to tease and tickle you, all encompassed in one album. What better way for them to share their musical journey with you than to invite you into their London home?
We present to you...The Unholy Grail! The merging of the culmination of our musical and performative journey. Expect the family members to be on their worst behaviour in our new London home. Feast your eyes upon us in our natural habitat, laid bare like never before! All of the mad aunts, awkward uncles and cheeky twins will be there to fool, test and entertain you. We're opening our doors, so come hither, for a party you will struggle to remember.

Over the past 4 years, the brain behind Gypsy Disco has been foraging and collecting bands from around the world, seeking to revive traditional Gypsy, Klezmer & Balkan brass music. A style of music commonly found at weddings and celebrations practised and kept alive by Roma, Slavic and Jewish communities. The bands we have chosen that embody this renaissance inject the music with a fresh and explosive sound, found on dance floors from Brighton to New York.
Each track has been carefully chosen to showcase the extraordinary and diverse range of the bands. In this way not only does it broaden the repertoire of this style but also gives a nod to long admired pioneers such as Fanfare Ciocărlia, Taraf De Haidouks & Esma Redzepova.
