Expertly ushering in the start of 2020 for us in Dorking, Danny Pedlar & Greg Russell are heading to Good Honest Folk as part of a national tour with their new album 'Field & Dyke'.
It's part of a really innovative project combining traditional music with the sounds of industry. The album presents 11 songs, all of which communicate social and cultural themes present in modern day rural England. The project is funded by Arts Council England, among others, and is working in factories in South Lincolnshire during 2019, providing arts engagement for factory floor workers, who typically have little opportunity to participate in arts and heritage activities.
'The quality of songs is uniformly excellent...a splendid example of the communicative power and continuing relevance of folk music'. FRoots
