We’re delighted to partner with the Libération Tardive Foundation, London City Bond, and Bodegas Roda to present a truly special wine tasting experience celebrating the beauty of aged wines.
The Libération Tardive Foundation is on a mission to reshape the way the industry and consumers perceive fine wine, advocating for the value and elegance of aged bottles. In collaboration with Nickolls & Perks, this event aims to deepen appreciation for mature wines and inspire us all to see time not as a limitation, but as a vital ingredient in quality.
Itinerary
6:00pm – Guests arrival at Nickolls & Perks
6.15pm – Departure of minibus
6.30pm – Arrival at LCB, aperitif, and tour
7.30pm – Departure
7.45pm – Arrival back at Nickolls & Perks
8:00pm – Tasting commences in cellars
- Exclusive Tour: Begin with a rare visit to the historic tunnels of London City Bond – Drakelow, offering unique insight into the world of bonded wine storage.
- Tasting Experience: Guests will then head to the atmospheric 16th-century cellars of Nickolls & Perks for a guided tasting of four exquisite back vintages from Bodegas Roda, preceded by a welcome drink.
- Expert Guidance: The tasting will be led by Vicky Bocanegra, Sales Manager at Bodegas Roda, who will share her expertise on the wines, the ageing process, and what makes mature vintages so special.
