We are collaborating with 'The London Buddhist Arts Centre' on the second and forth Friday of each month to offer Gong Baths to the local community-
For those who are interested in experiencing sound for the purposes of deep relaxation, meditation and general well-being.
*The term 'Bath' means that you are bathed in the sound waves of the Gong and other sacred instruments. There is no water involved and you do not have to remove any clothing. You simply lie down on mats, wrap yourself in a blanket and relax while you are cocooned in live sounds. A concert with your eyes closed.
DESCRIPTIONS OF GONG BATH
'SonicSoul' & 'Sound Interventions' facilitates a 1-hour sound immersion with their 5 Gongs and other therapeutic instruments including himalayan singing bowls, a shruti box, bells, a frame drum, koshi wind chimes, cactus rainsticks, nutshell shakers, tingshaw bells, Peruvian rattles, croaking frog güiro's, cabasa's, power chimes, kalimba's, a sansula, and bamboo leaf rattles.
Guests will be invited to lay down on mats, close their eyes, and experience deep listening as they are saturated and cocooned in sounds. 'SonicSoul' & 'Sound Interventions' will endeavour to deliver sound frequencies to the human body through the ears and directly through the skin, as a sound massage.
*The Gongs will be set up by each sound practitioner specifically to create Gong-Surround-Sound, as they attempt to entrain the left and right hemispheres of your brain.

What is a Gong Bath:
A Gong Bath is a form of sound healing. The term ' Bath' means that you are bathed in the sound waves of the Gong and other sacred instruments. There is no water involved and you do not have to remove any clothing. You simply lie down on mats, wrap yourself in a blanket and relax while you are cocooned in live sounds. A concert with your eyes closed.
THINGS TO KNOW
£13 early bird (limited)
£13 concession (students & pensioners).
Some tickets are also available at the door. If you would like us to reserve one for you please contact us.
The doors open at 19:30. The Gong Bath starts at 19:45
After the session, participants are welcome to have a cup of tea
Places are limited, and the choice of mats/proximity to the Gongs and other instruments is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
WHAT TO BRING
Each guest is provided with a yoga mat, a head rest, and a lavender eye pillow however if possible please bring:
* A blanket (or sleeping bag etc) to keep warm because the body temperature may shift during the session. Please contact us if you would like us to bring a blanket for you.
*Additional padding for extra comfort underneath you. You will be laying down for one hour on a yoga mat and the more 'padding' you have underneath you, the more comfortable you will be. The more comfortable you are the more beneficial the session will be for you.
