    FUTURE
Yves Behar in conversation with Alice Rawsthorn

Named a Top 25 Visionary by TIME Magazine, Yves Béhar will discuss how new technology acts as a catalyst to evolve design faster than ever before, transforming the role and the responsibility of the designer. Béhar is a design entrepreneur who believes that holistic product, digital, and brand experiences are the cornerstones of any business. He is the founder and Principal Designer of fuseproject, an integrated design and branding firm he established in 1999; he is also Chief Creative Officer of Jawbone, and co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of August, a connected home company. A sustainability advocate, Béhar believes that design should be a force for positive social and environmental change, and his humanitarian work includes the One Laptop Per Child, which has given 3 million laptops to children in developing countries, and See Better to Learn Better, which distributes 500,000 free glasses annually to underprivileged schoolchildren in Mexico.
