Looking for a Christmas cake alternative, or just want a fun day of sharpening your piping and cookie-making skills? In this class you will make your own 2-tier gingerbread Christmas Village, complete with stained glass windows and light up centre.
Ideal as a Christmas gift or table centrepiece, this project is a stunning way to get into the Christmas spirit and get your piping skills polished. You will learn how to make a delicious gingerbread cookie dough that holds it shape, the secret to perfect stained glass windows and how to decorate and build an impressive gingerbread structure.
Marianne, your pastry chef-tutor, will cover how to make royal icing and use different consistencies. She will show you beginner-friendly piping skills for flawless dots, scrolls and shells to adorn the gingerbread houses. You will pick your own colours and complete your own stained glass windows for a unique finish to each creation. Finally, we will show you how to light up the Winter Wonderland from the inside!
You will leave with your own 2-tier Gingerbread Village wrapped in cellophane & ribbon, lights for the inside and all the recipes & instructions from the class. The day also includes a delicious Bakesmiths lunch & a glass of mulled wine. Class suitable for beginner to intermediate home bakers.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
