    Description

As we focus on youth work and education recovery, many youth workers are looking for additional guidance and support to maximise the outdoors. The John Muir Trust has teamed up with YouthLink Scotland to help support the youth work sector to get started outdoors. We are running a free introductory digital webinar where we aim to:

    • Show the positive impacts that connecting with nature can deliver for young people
    • Give tips on how to get started with taking youth work outdoors
    • Highlight guidance available for the youth sector on education recovery and outdoor learning
    • Troubleshoot some concerns/challenges youth workers may have in getting started outdoors
    • Provide an introduction to the John Muir Award and what’s involved
    • Signpost to key resources and priorities, such as Learning for Sustainability and #iwill4nature
