We are throwing a 'Gangsters & Molls' themed party on Saturday 17th June at Harpenden Public Halls to celebrate the launch of Jason Cook's third book 'A Nice Little Earner'. This is also a casting party for the last 12 roles in the film 'The Devil's Dandruff' which will commence filming soon!
Our chosen charity to raise funds for is Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children's Charity.
Jason Cook, a British crime author is launching his 3rd book in the trilogy, which charts the true life events of 'Cookster' - A drug runner for a London firm of villains, who wants to earn himself a few quid. Cookster finds himself once more embroiled within the realms of drug smuggling, blackmail, revenge, dirty cash, sex, drugs, and Russian hit men!
Please dress to impress in your finest Gangsters & Molls, Faces & Dolls themed outfits as there will be a prize for the best costume!
The evening will run from 7.30pm-11pm and will be complimented by our fabulous Cabaret Singer Krista Johnson who will entertain you all with suitably era-themed songs. There will be a buffet and licensed bar on the evening, Cabaret seating, VIP area, plus an arsenal of enough replica weaponry to satisfy the hardiest of wannabe Gansters! Photo oppotunities will be available plus a raffle and merchandise to purchase on the evening. There will also be a casting area for applications and a meet and greet.
We are pleased to confirm that among the celebrity attendees, superstar DJ Luck (AKA DJ LUCK & MC NEAT) will be in attendance! Details of further VIP guests to follow!
