The Game Changers Collab #1

We launched our Game Changers programme and are now even more obsessed with the power of community. So aside from our next one starting in January we thought it might be fun to start a new monthly meet up for ANY mothers who fancy a little Game Changing action of their own.

Perhaps you've been mooting the idea of starting a new business or have always wanted to start working for yourself (even on the side). Maybe its a project or adventure you are planning or you fancy changing careers altogether. Maybe you don't know any of the answers but like the idea of meeting up with some fellow mothers who are in the same boat.

Or perhaps you even already work for yourself, miss the social side and want to get together with a group of other mothers doing ace stuff to share ideas, discuss challenges, learn new skills and inject some fun into your working week.

This is not just networking. This is not an opportunity to sell. This is a collaboration of talented women who happen to be mothers doing something different to make positive change. This is a place to come and pitch an idea before you get started, a place to get feedback from people you can trust in a really safe environment, a place to do some thinking and get some inspiration.

Sometimes we'll invite along a guest speaker (let's discuss and decide what we need) but more often than not we'll use the talent we already have in the group to share knowledge and personal experiences.

For our first one we'll be inviting along Clare Kay, graduate of the Digital Mums programme and expert on all things social media. She will be providing us with inspiration by sharing her story of going solo as well as a whole host of top tips for using social media both for professional and personal use. Get ready with your notebooks!

The details:

Thursday 3rd November 7.30pm - 10pm

Mono, Chorlton, M21 0EU

• 7.30pm-8.00pm = The CoLab (Minute meet & skill swap shop)
• 8.00pm - 8.30pm = Learning Lab (Digital Mum Clare will be sharing top tips and her experience of going solo)
• 8.30pm - 9.00pm = Pitching Lab (Less Dragon's Den, more Girl Power. Each month one Mother will be sharing her idea or Game Change dilemma for us to give some feedback, advice and support)
• 9.00pm - 10.00pm = Ideas Lab (Loads more brainstorming, socialising or indeed getting some work or thinking done whilst you have the time and space away from the jobs list)
• All rounded off with a few drinks (your ticket includes a glass of wine or non alcoholic alternative)
