Fundraising Reception and Recital

Feb 20 2019 18:45 - 21:00

Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge, Wollaston Rd, CB1 2EW Cambridge

Cambridge Handel Opera Company has already gained considerable support for our next production, Tamerlano but we still need to raise more funds to be able produce this opera in 2020.

On 20th February at Hughes Hall in Cambridge we will be hosting the first of a series of fundraising events. The event will begin with a reception where you'll be able to meet CHOC's trustees and talk with other fellow Handel fans. This will be followed by a recital given by CHOC's Artistic Director, Julian Perkins and tenor, William Wallace.

William received fantastic reviews for his role as Grimoaldo in our production of Rodelinda, and has agreed to take on the role of Bajazet for CHOC's production of Tamerlano. The programme for the recital will include arias from Tamerlano alongside other works.

While there is no charge for tickets, we would welcome voluntary donations, and suggest that around £45 per person might be appropriate. You can make your donation when booking your tickets.
