iniva together with Grand Junction, Climate Reframe, and artist Maymana Arefin present 'Fruitings Will Come' a four part workshop series taking place every Tuesday from 1 to 3 PM at Grand Junction. 

The first session, Below the Surface — Walking with Kin, is a nature walk and workshop that explore natural kinship and interdependence through an intergenerational walk and acts of creative making.

An outdoor exploration at Westbourne Green Open Space, discovering the hidden networks of life that thrive within the urban landscape. The walk focuses on local plants and green spaces, reflecting on how connection and collaboration sustain both ecosystems and communities.

What to bring: raincoat or umbrella, be prepared for a little rain!

Charlie is a wildlife lover, nature photographer, wellbeing facilitator, and crafter. Through holding nature connection spaces for people from marginalised backgrounds, their work weaves creative practices with holistic care to build reciprocal relationships between communities and the natural world. They love providing people with foraged materials, art supplies and the confidence to draw inspiration from nature whilst nurturing a community of people and wildlife. In their spare time, you’ll find Charlie somewhere scenic, connecting with the land through their camera lens, collaging, painting and the occasional spontaneous sketch.

The Fruitings Will Come: Workshop Series Part of Present Land

A four-part workshop series at Grand Junction developed in collaboration with Climate Reframe members, bringing communities together to share knowledge, lived experience and creativity. Through nature walks, textile craft, soil play and storytelling, we will nurture radical intergenerational dialogue around care, climate justice and belonging.
