FRESH = midweek gigs presenting fresh new music and fresh homemade food (usually but not always pizza!) for £5 (but you have to buy them in advance online to be guaranteed food - otherwise we can't guesstimate numbers or try your luck on the door!)
This is truly a multi-faceted gig of two diverse parts, from acid folk to new Asian music exploring, re-imagining and blending traditional Asian music and electronica.

Touching on the outer limits of acid folk, psych rock, and improvisation, the Charlambides sound remains uniquely personal & consistent.
Born into to a Cambodian family in a Thai refugee camp and raised in France Lafidki is now based in London. Unsurprisingly his music is a confluence of ideas, synthesising multiple underrepresented histories, geographies, musical genres and cultural signifiers into compelling, colourful sonic material.
