Description

Join us at the top four floors of the Peckham Multi-Storey car park for immersive workshops, a tour of the site and sculpture specially for children, and the special opportunity to see live open rehearsals of Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons by The Multi-Story Orchestra. 

Free ice cream from Frank’s Cafe for everyone who completes a workshop!

All activities are FREE and cater for families and children of all ages; limited capacity so advance booking is recommended.


Seasons Skyline Sketching Workshop (5 years +)

2.00pm - 3.00pm 

Rooftop Observatory

Join us for skyline sketching from our incredible rooftop viewing platform. Designed by our education team, Bold Everywhere, this workshop observes and sketches our favourite parts of the vast skyline of London, with all its different forms and shapes. Can you imagine what it looks like in winter? Spring? Autumn? Inspired by The Multi-Story Orchestra’s performance of The Four Seasons, we will play with the skyline and imagine its various possibilities.


Site and Sculpture Tour of Bold Tendencies 2019 

3.00pm - 3.30pm

Rooftop Kiosk

Take a special, family-friendly tour of Bold Tendencies 2019! The tour will include all our permanent art and architecture on site, including Simon Whybray's bubblegum pink staircase and the Derek Jarman Garden. It will also feature the 6 new artworks on the subject of Fiction, all presented and activated in new ways specially for the tour. 


Seasons Sound Sketching Workshop (5 years +):

3:30pm – 4:30pm 

Level 7 & 8

During the live rehearsals we will listen to the orchestra and create a large collaborative collage. The aim of the workshop will be to guess which season is being played in the rehearsal and explore the movement of the sounds that echo through the car park. 


Open Rehearsal: The Multi-Story Orchestra perform Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons (all ages)

4.30pm - 5.00pm

Level 7 & 8

Come and watch rehearsals of the award-winning Multi-Story Orchestra as they prepare to perform Max Richter’s famous re-imagining of Vivaldi’s classic, The Four Seasons scored for electronics and string ensemble, including harpsichord and featuring orchestral leader Francesca Barritt as violin soloist.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
