Crazy Cousinz is a collective of talented producers from London that formed in 2007. They soon made a name for themselves in both commercial and underground circles for their fresh minded and inventive house productions. Funky house, deep house and rolling main room house are all fair game and the collective naturally come from very diverse musical backgrounds. Flukes is a classically trained talent who has produced well-known pop and grime hits 'Fallin', 'Wifey Riddim' and 'Hood Economics' for the likes of Tinnie Tempah. Paleface started out as a drum & bass producer and has been crowned 'King of the Bassline' by his fans. Kodi started out in the industry as a studio engineer working with a range of grime, hip hop and bashment artists from Giggs to Styloh G. The last part of the puzzle is Play, both a producer and a DJ, who first became involved in the industry through promoting and hosting some of the most popular urban club nights in London.
Although varied in genres, the Cousinz share a passion for making good music and their different backgrounds have complimented each other and resulted in their unique sound. Some of their biggest successes to date include 'Daydreaming', 'It’s That Funky' and 'Bongo Jam', which counted Trevor Nelson as a big fan. Their album 'This is UK Funky House Vol I' defined the funky house sound and placed Crazy Cousinz very much at the centre of the genre.
