Enterprise Rent a Car and Flexi Rent are teaming up with other local dealerships and bodyshops to come together and raise funds for a local charity based in Grays, Thurrock. We are hosting a charity football tournament we're we are hoping to raise funds for a local homeless charity called Friends of Essex & London Homeless (FOELH). We have teamed up and are working with other big brands such as SYTNER BMW, AUDI, BALGORES, NEWBRIDGE ARC, ARTIS ACCIDENT CARE and the charity themselves to help raise as much money and awareness. Please read below a description from the charity themselves as to the great work they are doing within our local area.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE CHARITY
We started in December 2016 with myself (Steven) and Cheryl and have grown to 30+ volunteers and became a registered charity (1178366) in May 2018
FOELH is non funded and rely totally on donations from our followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and our Website
We run two soup kitchens every week without fail, Charing Cross every Wednesday evening giving out 250 plus hot dishes, sandwiches, cakes, drinks, soups, toiletries ,clothes and sleeping bags etc and Friday evening in Grays giving out anything up to 30 hot dinners plus all of the above as well as running a weekly Foodbank alongside the soup kitchen on a Friday.
We have an Amazon wish list on our website and Facebook which people can choose what they donate to us
We treat everyone we meet with dignity and respect and never judge as we don’t walk in their shoes
