We’re really excited to be teaming up with the enigmatic and uber-cool Marc Laws II for a morning that will literally turn your world upside down.
When we were born we learned to walk. So one can say we were born to walk. Can the same be said using our hands and inverting? Come find out as we explore the art of play through yoga and different arts of movement to learn to invert. Using series of progressive tools... Starting from the bottom and working our way 'up'.
After a fun 1.5hrs of learning to go upside down, it’s time to relax and socialise with old and new friends alike. You’ll be treated to a scrumptious and well-deserved brunch, served by our friends from Maple & Fitz. Spoiler alert: grilled avocado is on the menu (see the full menu below).
And don’t worry if your friends are not into yoga and these kind of events! Just come by yourself. We always have a really lovely bunch of people at our events and pride ourselves in creating welcoming and friendly environment where new friendships have been formed.

ABOUT MARC LAWS II
When Marc was a professional athlete, he always looking for ways to tap in to the higher potential of the body and mind. This same curiosity led him to education in sports therapy, massage, personal training, and studies of the mind. Then along came yoga… In his first yoga studio class, Marc was struck by the flow of the asana practice; that it demanded strength, flexibility, awareness and balance all as one. For Marc, yoga had it all for: the philosophy, an approach to life, and the awareness of the mind and self. He remains grateful to Ian Dodge, Sally Griffyn, Amy Rose and his teacher Meghan Currie for introducing him into this community, wisdom and art of yoga.
His practice using theme, music, awareness of the senses, breath, flow and meditation. Drawing from different modalities of yoga and other arts of movement. Hosting an environment to learn more about Self and empowering ones self on the adventure we call life.
His personal mantra to live by: Never look down on a person unless you’re helping them up.
