In ‘Finding Light: A Journey into Nature to Find My Soul’, photographic artist and Nature writer, Brad Carr, shares his authentic story of transformation through the lens of his camera and interactions with the natural world. The presentation weaves together image and written word as a deeply personal response to Brad’s experiences of both external and internal landscapes. Through his evocative and ethereal photographs and heartfelt writings, he invites the audience into his story — one of healing, transformation and discovery — offering insight into the restorative power of being in Nature. Described by the artist as ‘self-portraits,’ the photographs represent his emotional state at the time of their creation. They provide a simultaneous view of both the inner and outer world, moving between expansive vistas of wild landscapes and intimate studies of ancient trees and mystical woodland scenes. Both his photographs and writings tell the story of human experience, capturing moments of reflection, solace, and connection with spirit.

Artist’s Bio – July 2025

Brad is a blossoming Nature photographer and writer from Wales. The art of photography, for him, is a spiritual practice more so than a hobby or profession. His photographs of the sacred Welsh landscape possess tremendous depth and meaning, depicting the sense of a long-lost home that he experiences whilst in the natural world following some turbulent and disruptive formative years.

Having landed numerous publications in international magazines recently, and hosted his Finding Light exhibition in a prestigious national Welsh gallery in 2025, Brad is establishing himself as an authoritative figure within the photography world, and his future as an artist is laden with promise.

By booking this event you are deemed to consent to this transfer of your data.

The event may be recorded and published. By joining the event you are deemed to consent to our making a recording of the event available online afterwards.

Cancellation Policy

It is inevitable, that occasionally an event will be postponed or cancelled for this or another reason beyond the RPS’s control. If an event is postponed we will transfer your booking to the rearranged event, with the option of a refund if the rescheduled date is not suitable for you. Occasionally an event may also be cancelled owing to a lack of bookings.

If an event is cancelled we will give you as much notice as we are able and any payment by you to the RPS in respect of the event is offered as a full refund. In the case of events cancelled because of a lack of interest, we will aim to give you as much notice as possible.
