On 9th March we will be screening the following shorts directed, shot or produced by women:

Once An Old Lady Sat On My Chest by Candice Onyeama - A young woman is forced to deal with her identity crises, when a mysterious old woman squats on her chest.

Ladies Day by Abena Taylor-Smith - Amma spends the day getting braids in an Afro-Caribbean hair salon. It’s full of fun, sheen spray, gossip and laughter, but how will she deal with the casual homophobia?

Lost Youth cinematography by Rina Yang - Lost Youth is a film that exposes the darker side of Tokyo. It shows the stories of youth in Japan and is based on true events.

Third Sorrow by Myriam Raja - Third Sorrow follows single mother Yejide as she prepares for her daughter's rite of passage into womanhood. The burdens of tradition and duty bring Yejide's maternal instincts into conflict.

Anybody Gets It by MFT Media - Four young people play a game based on celebrity culture and social media, who will come out on top?
