Stephen Bourne presents an entertaining and informative illustrated talk about some of the gay men who are featured in his latest book, Fighting Proud – The Untold Story of the Gay Men Who Served in Two World Wars.
Fighting Proud includes the stories of many servicemen as well as the wartime experiences of Quentin Crisp, bandleader Ken ‘Snakehips’ Johnson, PC Harry Daley, Noel Coward and the film director Brian Desmond Hurst.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Copies of the book will be available to buy on the night.
Doors open at 18.30, for a 19.30 start.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.

I have not received my Fighting Proud ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Fighting Proud tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
