Faustus - live concert in Dorking

Feb 09 2019 19:15 - 22:15

Oddfellows Hall, 270 High Street, Surrey, RH4 1QT Dorking

Faustus brings together three leading lights on the UK folk scene; Benji Kirkpatrick, Saul Rose and Paul Sartin. Expect vocal harmonies and musicianship of the highest quality in a performance that is ‘dynamically fascinating to watch, entertaining and intriguing’ (Folk & Roots). Rooted in English traditional music, Faustus attracts fans of folk and rock music and everything in between, who will jump at a chance to see this highly-respected band live.

'One of Britain’s outstanding folk bands.' **** The Guardian
'Ridiculously great band.' Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
'Everything that’s best in modern traditional music.' Acoustic Magazine

Following successful releases in 2008, 2013 and 2016, the band will release their new EP in early 2019. Each member brings a plethora of experience and these three are certainly amongst the busiest musicians you’ll meet, all being active in other groups and collaborations. Benji and Paul were key members of the late BBC Award-winning band, Bellowhead.
