Enjoy a calming sound bath session together after a week of 'half-term'! This is a soothing meditative sound bath for both parent (caregiver/grandparents etc) and child (aged 5 years and older), timed in the afternoon just before teatime, dusk and an early night. Snuggle in with your child for a snoozy cuddle, and perhaps even a sneaky power nap as we experience breathing and meditative power of sound, and perhaps even some self-regulation.
Sound baths are not music, deliberately, to avoid the brain from engaging with the sounds, but rather allowing it to meander and meditate. They can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep and have even been demonstrated to help regulate blood pressure and heart rate.
The laws of physics state that everything is in a constant state of vibration, and the most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration known as resonance. When we ourselves are in resonance, we ourselves are then in balance. Some people sleep better immediately after a sound bath, others become emotional initially as they release past tensions beforehand. Everyone is different.

Contraindications-
You should not attend (without written GP clearance) if you have/have had any of the following-
-heart conditions
-epilepsy
-mental health conditions
-metallic implants such as plates, pins, or pacemakers
-currently pregnant
What to Bring-
warm clothes, yoga mats, blanket, pillow, eye masks for example, anything you need to lie comfortably for the session. Little ones may like to bring a teddy too! Please bring a water bottle as you may feel dehydrated as you begin to release tension and toxins.

Lyndsey, a seasoned educator created Forest Fusion after a very successful international career working in educational leadership. Lyndsey’s varied background includes New Zealand, Australia, United States, United Kingdom and International Baccalaureate educational systems along with teaching members of a Royal Family. She has trained teachers at various universities abroad, educated governors on boards, led CPD sessions for educators and ran workshops for parents and wider communities such as professional networking groups. Lyndsey’s extensive teaching experience spans various countries and cultural contexts, showcasing her passion for Early and Primary Years development.
She studied ‘Visible Thinking’ at Harvard University and often applies this in her learning spaces and well-being sessions. Beyond teaching, she excels in leadership, spearheading initiatives for inclusive and innovative learning environments, emphasising her dedication to shaping educational paradigms. Lyndsey has herself experienced trauma, witnessing several failures within different systems and wanted to educate and support people to prioritise their learning and well-being. Life is short, Lyndsey realises that time is the most valuable commodity. Lyndsey wanted to MAKE time. She wanted to use her experience and qualifications to help people to embrace life, learning and inner well-being.
Forest Fusion promotes well-being, self care and academic learning. We help people to feel empowered, prioritising time for themselves, their families, friends and colleagues. We offer a variety of well-being workshops and educational experiences whilst collaborating with the local community. We lead different types of training, lessons and workshop sessions to further assist in both academic development and well-being.
