Every August Italians celebrate "Ferragosto", which comes from the Latin Feriae Augusti meaning "August's rest". Since 18 BC they have marked the end of the harvest with a well-deserved break, not to mention heaps of delicious food and wine a good excuse for a get together!
After the huge success of last year's Ferragosto, Armit Wines has teamed up with Li Veli Winery and Bistro to bring you a celebration of Puglian food and wines.
You will have the opportunity to try 5 delicious wines from wine producer Masseria Li Veli, accompanied by a selection of authentic Puglian dishes and hosted by Alfredo Falvo from the winery.
